Snoop Lion - Snoop Lion: Miley collaboration was natural

Snoop Lion felt it was natural for him to collaborate with Miley Cyrus. The gangster-rapper-turned-reggae artist claims he has much in common with the former Disney child star of 'Hannah Montana', leading to their collaboration, 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks'. Speaking at last night's (14.04.13) MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles, he told BANG Showbiz: ''Miley Cyrus was always a great singer to me and I knew she was a fan so it was great for us to collaborate. ''It's what she's going through and what I'm going through, she makes great music.'' Snoop's reggae effort, 'Reincarnated' - which also features guest spots from Drake, Rita Ora and Akon - has been met with mixed reviews, but he says it is all part of his campaign to one day be included in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. He has previously said: ''This reggae album is the perfect depiction of that, songs that will cross me over to a real musical icon. It's real important to me. ''You don't do it for the accolades, but when you been in it for so long and you been great, you start to look for things to push you forward. ''I wanna go to the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. And the only way I can go there is if I do 25 years of great music non-stop. So I've got two more years to go. That's my goal.''
